A Clinical Certified Orthotist (CO) (c) has a minimum of eight years of education and practical training. Certified Orthotists work closely with physicians, therapists and their clients to design and fit the orthotic devices that will enhance a patient’s functional life. A Certified Orthotist treats patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Our Certified Orthotists are members in good standing with the Canadian Board for Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists (CBCPO). They also have Departmental Assistant Status with Providence Care.
