Many of the devices used long term are funded through the Ministry of Health Assistive Devices Program.
Work place and private group insurance plans will often cover a percentage of the cost of a device provided by a Certified Orthotist.

The patient may be referred to one of our Certified Orthotists through a rehabilitation specialist, directly by his or her family physician, or may “self” refer (no initial referral required).
